STEP 1: HOMESITE EVALUATIONAs important as the owner?s personal program requirements are the requirements given to us by the homesite itself. During this phase we establish soil conditions, topography, tree locations and utility sources. Sun Rotations, wind sources, view corridors, privacy considerations and solar orientation are examined and documented as well. The primary purpose of this phase is to provide a working underlayment upon which design concepts can be developed. The information gathered during this phase provides the seed from which the design concept flourishes. |
